Many eons ago it seems, back in 2008, I had a vision of you for the first time. You were in a park as the sun set behind you. A silhouette at the time, not easily discernible. You watched me as I watched you through a glass pane window. So close, yet so far away. I could never forget that lucid dream. The feeling it sparked seemed to be a message from the universe to me. One emphasizing that you exist, somewhere between time and space.

I reached out to touch you but my hand palmed glass. As tears streamed from my eyes, you remained focused with strong posture. I couldn’t make out your face, but I knew you could see me. Neither of us know when the time will come for our reunification. As we stood facing each other, an empty park bench could be seen off on the side. I flashed forward to the day when we’d finally meet by the park bench and take a stroll in the park. hand in hand. It gave me a sense of comfort knowing that you will be a part of my destiny.

I’ve yearned for you over the years through triumph and trials, laughter and tears. I have never doubted that our day would come one day and am determined to be thankful for the present, to live life fully, to live in love as I work on becoming the best me per my life path. As fate would have it, there will always be ups and downs. It is during these periods that I learned to be happy, to Love unconditionally, to forgive, to evolve in my spiritual awakening. Now one day our paths will merge and we’ll be on the threshold of discovering our greatest works together. Hand in hand, we’ll fulfill our purpose together. You are my mirror.
