Odin's Runes

Brief History: Runes are an ancient alphabet which preceded the Latin alphabet; its origins are truly unknown. There are very few written documents left which contain Rune transcription; however there are many remnants set in stone, bone, and other artifacts until this day. Runes played an important part in communication; each letter has a phonetic sound with a distinct meaning. Unlike the Latin alphabet, each rune symbolizes the most powerful forces in the universe. The word “rune” means “letter” and “secret or mystery”. Consulting the Runes are a magical and esoteric form of communication, primarily between the self and the universe. Odin is a seeker of knowledge and wisdom.
